The Glimpse of Venice

Indeed, it was a short trip to Venice due to another last minute rendezvous in Bucharest. What ashame to have such a short sojourn in such a lovely and romantic place. Within less than 24 hours, I could only see the silhouette of San Marco square and the small labyrinth to the hotel. The very next day, I was literally running to Rialto to catch the water taxi to the airport. Venice ... I shall return !!!

Above : the famous and classical water transport, Gondola. Mainly used by tourists and a bit pricy, however, it is worth it if u intend to visit and pass through the small canals in venetian style.

Located along the Adriatic Sea in the northeast of Italy, Venice used to be a maritime power and an important commerce centre during the middle ages and renaissance period.
